Custodio & Dubey LLP (CD Law) in Los Angeles seeks an Associate Attorney to lead habitability matters, manage own caseload, and work alongside senior litigators. This role emphasizes client-centered representation and independent case handling in a fast-paced environment.

You will interview clients, conduct discovery, coordinate with experts, and support a department handling significant cases against landlords and management companies.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in California and in good standing.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and the ability to think critically are required.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently is important.
• Must be a team player with ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of habitability matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct client interviews, investigations, discovery, depositions, negotiations, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Appear for court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with senior partners, support staff, and experts to develop winning case strategies.
• Maintain strong client communication and provide compassionate, client-centered representation.
