Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to, or eligibility for prompt admission to, the Maryland Bar.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience or coursework in civil litigation and trial practice.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and procedural applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all stages of complex litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, and preparing case strategies.
• Review and analyze records, prepare deposition outlines and summaries, and draft correspondence to clients and opposing counsel.
• Manage case files and deadlines; attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses to support case preparation and strategy.
