Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business and identify account rounding opportunities within Life Sciences.
• Manage cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to expand existing accounts.
• Apply underwriting guidelines with precision and consistency.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, compliance standards, and governance.
• Make underwriting decisions within authority; consult with experts for complex cases.
• Influence renewal retention and risk-reward using pricing tools and planning.
• Advise agency partners on Life Sciences risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with territory underwriters to drive results and deepen relationships.
• Work with agents to answer coverage questions and direct resources.
• Coordinate with Operations on mid-term changes needing underwriting input.
• Deliver responsive, high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
