Job summary

Marsh is seeking candidates for a Life Sciences Placement role supporting product liability, clinical trials, and E&O coverage. The position is based in New York, Philadelphia, or Chicago and is hybrid, requiring at least three days in the office weekly.

You will work with senior team members to renew placements, select insurers, negotiate terms, and present program recommendations while documenting all activities. Collaboration with clients, carriers, and colleagues is essential to success.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• 2–5 years of insurance industry or relevant experience.
• P&C licensed, OR ability to obtain within 3 months of employment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn proprietary applications/databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute renewal strategy, select insurers, negotiate broad coverage terms, document placement activities.
• Foster relationships with team, clients, and carriers to provide cohesive client service.
• Consult management on complex client issues and trends; participate in solution development.
• Ensure client renewal transactions are compliant with professional standards.
• Assist in special projects within the team.
• Support client retention and new business via RFPs and coverage reviews; negotiate favorable terms.
• Review quotes, binders, and policies to ensure accuracy of coverage placed.
