Qualifications

3+ years in business development, marketing, or client relationship management.
Bachelor's degree preferred; concentration in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with key corporate terms (VC financing, M&A, IPOs) required.
Strong research/analytical skills with polished output.
Willingness to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to improve efficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently with attorneys.

Responsibilities

Support BD initiatives across the life sciences sector and cultivate relations with target prospects, clients, and VC/growth funds.
Serve as project manager for life sciences BD campaigns, coordinating timelines, deliverables and stakeholders.
Develop materials for pitches, proposals, industry events, and client meetings.
Research and analyze clients, competitors, and investors for actionable market intelligence.
Track and enhance BD efforts via CRM (Salesforce) and report ROI.
Collaborate across practice groups to support cross-practice BD initiatives.
Monitor industry news and flag BD opportunities to attorneys and leadership.
Contribute to BD best practices and processes.
