Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Actuarial Analyst for its Life Practice in Chicago. You will develop and run actuarial models for valuation, pricing, and projections, while analyzing results and supporting assumption development from data and research.

The role emphasizes strong analytical, written and verbal communication, with a collaborative mindset and the possibility of hybrid work in a busy consulting environment. 1 actuarial exam is required, with exams supported by the firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 1 actuarial exam passed (required)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
• Technical skills (preferred): Excel; familiarity with R, Python, SQL, SAS, or VBA
• Nice to have: Relevant experience in life insurance or actuarial work (not required)
