Here at Optimum Care Counseling & Wellness Solutions, our goal is to help our clients use their strengths to gain insight into their problems and feel more in control of their lives. We are seeking several LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, and LMHCs to join our team! Join us as a part-time 1099 employee to start. We are offering flexible hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, looking for a minimum of 15 to 20 hours of work weekly. You will provide individual counseling services to children, adults, and the elderly, remotely in your home office as we are 100% virtual. We use a robust electronic health records system which includes a telehealth platform to see patients virtually.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
2. Offer assistance to individuals with mental and behavioral issues
3. Provide prevention-oriented, cognitive behavior, dialectical behavioral, or psychoanalysis therapies
4. Develop and implement treatment plans
5. Collaborate with our in-house Psychiatrist and Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioners, other treatment providers, and placement agencies
6. Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
7. Complete all online EHR training videos necessary for this position (paid training usually 10-15 hours dependent on provider)

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in mental & behavioral health counseling or other related fields
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Ability to build rapport with clients
4. Strong leadership qualities
5. Experience in one or multiple of the following therapeutic modalities:
1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
2. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)
3. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
6. At least 1-3 years of experience with one of the following:
1. Licensed professional counselors (LPCs)
2. Licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs)
3. Licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs)
4. Licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs)
5. All Licensed PhD Levels
7. Experience working in private outpatient practice preferred but not required

We are currently serving patients in all 67 counties. Based on patient's needs and demands, we are among the few practices in the state currently offering diagnosis and treatment for ADD/ADHD with the use of FDA-approved testing approved by insurance.
