Job summary

Garden State Counseling Center in Paramus, NJ, is seeking a Licensed Clinician for a full-time hybrid position. The role offers $65,000–$80,000 with opportunities to work across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans using CBT and other modalities, and provide individual, group, and family therapy. Experience with crisis intervention is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as an LCADC, LAC, LSW, or CADC in good standing.
• Experience with psychotherapy modalities including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, or grief counseling.
• Experience with crisis intervention and crisis management protocols.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated empathy and cultural competence.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based modalities including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy addressing trauma, grief, addiction, PTSD, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, gender issues, chronic pain, and other behavioral health concerns.
• Utilize crisis intervention and crisis management protocols to support clients in acute episodes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic, coordinated patient care.
• Deliver services in outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings as needed.
