Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Associate to analyze liability claims for a portfolio of clients, determine benefits due, and adjudicate within service standards.

Responsibilities include negotiating settlements, communicating claim activity to claimants and clients, and reporting claims to the excess carrier in a timely, professional manner. TX licensing preferred; Multi-state knowledge is a plus. Plano, TX hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 1 year of claims management experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze liability claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
