Job summary

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County seeks a Legal Analyst to perform journey-level legal and administrative work in the Office of Legal Affairs. You will conduct legal research, draft documents, and assist Court Counsel with a broad portfolio of matters, including ADA compliance and policy oversight.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible experience supporting multiple attorneys or judicial officers.
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Ability to manage confidential information and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis; prepare recommendations and legal documents for attorney review.
• Review subpoenas and other inquiries; ensure compliance with laws and court policies.
• Assist with litigation and court filings, including documents and tables of authorities.
• Represent the Court in small claims matters and support Court Counsel to protect court rights.
• Process disability accommodation requests under California Rules of Court (Rule 1.100).
• Oversee Local Rules, General Orders, Standing Orders, Resource Guides, and Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain confidential legal files and update digital legal resources.
