Job summary

Curtiss-Wright DS, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for our Santa Clarita, CA site. The role focuses on leading supplier program quality engineering, supplier quality, and nonconforming disposition with both on-site and remote work in a hybrid format.

The position requires AS9100 experience, supplier audits, and strong problem-solving skills. Expect 20-30% travel to visit customers and CW sites as needed. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing suppliers to AS9100 and flowdowns.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations: 14 CFR Part 21 and 145 is a plus.
• Proven quality engineering background in high-mix/low-volume manufacturing and supplier quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing supplier program quality engineering and investigations.
• Plan and conduct supplier quality audits and manage 8D CAPA/Root Cause investigations.
• Monitor delivery and quality performance through regular reviews with Supply Chain.
• Dispositions of CW or customer flowdowns to vendors and ensure effective execution.
• Support internal/external audits to maintain AS9100 compliance.
