Job summary

Veradigm Inc. is seeking an experienced technical leader in Raleigh for hands-on direction across product and engineering teams.

You will turn ambiguous healthcare software problems into clear technical plans, align teams, and uplift engineering effectiveness while stewarding AI-assisted development practices. You will guide multi-team efforts across databases, .NET services and APIs, Angular apps, AWS infrastructure, and deployment platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years delivering and operating production software.
• Record of leading complex technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Full stack delivery across relational data, backend services/apis, frontend apps, cloud infra, and production ops.
• Strong hands-on with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, async messaging.
• Experience with cloud apps/infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Excellent communication and judgment; able to align without direct reports.
• Healthcare interoperability experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-team initiatives from discovery through delivery and production operations.
• Define architectures and roadmaps across databases, APIs, Angular frontends, integrations, and AWS infrastructure.
• Stay hands-on with prototyping, coding, debugging, reviews, and risky work.
• Establish patterns/standards to enable teams to deliver consistently.
• Address security, scalability, resilience, performance, data, and developer experience risks.
• Modernize large systems while preserving customer value and stability.
• Set quality standards via design reviews, testing, observability, and incident learning.
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering practices without direct authority.
• Evaluate AI-assisted development patterns and share guidance across teams.
• Capture delivery/production learnings through docs, demos, and communities of practice.
