Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer in Frisco, Texas. This role involves developing next generation Global Trade Management applications in a hybrid work model. Applicants should have over 10 years of experience in software development, including 5 years in the Global Trade industry and proficiency in .NET and Angular. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing software for the Global Trade industry.
• 10+ years of software development experience across multiple programming languages.
• Solid understanding of application security from both the web service and web application perspective.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications using best practices in coordination with a distributed team.
• Contribute across all aspects of Agile development.
• Lead code reviews to enforce standards and provide feedback.

Skills

Proficiency in .NET development (C#, VB.NET)

Proficiency in responsive front-end / single page application development using Angular

Experience with both SQL and NoSQL data persistence systems (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Education

5+ years of experience in software development

3+ years of hands-on experience with AI-First development tools

Tools

DataDog for observability

AWS and/or GCP cloud-native development
