Piper Companies is seeking a Procurement Analyst in the Durham, NC area for a hybrid role within a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company dedicated to innovative therapies for rare diseases.

Responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams, managing supplier relations, and leading sourcing initiatives while optimizing spend and risk. The role requires a strong background in procurement processes and S2P/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
• 6-8+ years' procurement experience
• Experience with strategic sourcing, RFQs, supplier management, and vendor performance issues
• Experience leading RFI/RFP processes
• Proficiency with Source-to-Pay systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office; understanding of GxP environments
• Negotiation experience with Contract Research Organizations
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in global organizations

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and ensure critical services and resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners as a trusted planning resource.
• Lead projects through full lifecycle, driving timely execution and process improvements.
• Analyze spending, service performance, and trends to identify opportunities for optimization and risk reduction.
• Support contract and vendor management activities, including negotiations and compliance oversight.
