Insitro is seeking a Lead/Senior Machine Learning Scientist on the Integrative Phenotyping team in South San Francisco to develop, productionize, and deploy ML that derives precise phenotypes from multimodal human data.

You will collaborate across ML, genetics, biology, and software, report to Head of Integrative Phenotyping, and operate in a three-day-per-week in-person hybrid setting, with a compensation package that includes salary, bonus, and equity.

Formación

• PhD in computer science, ML, or related field, or 5+ years of applied ML research.
• Experience building and deploying state-of-the-art multimodal ML methods for health data.
• Proficiency in Python in a cloud environment with modern DL frameworks.
• Experience with clinical imaging, EHRs, or omics data.
• Strong publication record in ML/biomedical venues.

Responsabilidades

• Build and deploy ML methods to extract biological insight from multimodal human data.
• Model patient state and predict outcomes from imaging, EHRs, biomarkers, and omics.
• Ensure models are rigorous and reproducible.
• Develop reusable platform components with software team.
• Integrate causal evidence across phenotypes to identify targets.
• Develop biomarkers for patient selection and endpoints.
• Link human genetics to ML-derived phenotypes.
