Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation analyzing application requirements.
• Six (6) years of experience must include building scalable web applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, and Node.js.
• Experience designing UI for web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience maintaining and optimizing cloud-deployed applications for high availability and scalability.
• Experience building web apps that integrate data transfer protocols including XML and JSON.
• Experience architecting server-side components using JAVA/J2EE, Spring MVC, Struts, REST APIs, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Execute work on large scale efforts or multiple smaller efforts while serving as a technical lead on projects.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineering managers to identify risks and plan delivery.
• Lead architectural discussions and ensure best practices align with CTO guidelines.
• Perform design reviews for NGA/Plan of Record projects and promote reusable patterns.
• Contribute to design reviews and code reviews across NGA architectures and solutions.
• Provide long term technical perspective for business and technology choices.
