Job summary

Stantec is seeking a professional Landscape Designer/Architect to join our team on a hybrid schedule. The role involves preparing construction documents, site visits, CAD production, and contributing to design reviews under experienced mentors.

You will create layout and planting plans, generate SketchUp models and renderings, and assist in development of contract documents using CAD. A strong CAD background and collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong communication and design skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents including layout, planting, irrigation and grading plans.
• Create SketchUp models and renderings for concepts and designs.
• Develop design concepts through site analysis and drawings (digital and hand-drawn).
• Assist in contract document preparation using CAD.
• Produce project renderings and client reports; support design reviews.
• Participate in ongoing skill development activities.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and good driving record.
