Job summary
Environmental Science Associates in Northern California seeks a licensed Landscape Architect with 5+ years of related work experience to lead habitat restoration, parks, and public access projects. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule from Oakland, San Francisco, or Sacramento offices and travel as needed.
You will work with AutoCAD/Civil3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and modeling software to prepare plans, renderings, and construction documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Landscape Architecture and the ability to become licensed in California within two years.
- 5+ years designing habitat restoration, parks and open space, and public infrastructure projects.
- Proven project management coordinating with consultants, clients, and public agencies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and modeling/design software.
Responsibilities
- Develop concepts, plans, and specifications for habitat restoration and public access projects.
- Prepare construction drawings, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Support client meetings, proposals, and public outreach.
- Provide field support, site visits, and coordination with engineers and biologists.
