Job summary

Maximus is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Payment Operations Analyst to support payment processing operations for the Florida Healthy Kids program. The Junior Payment Operations Analyst will assist with payment processing, financial reporting, system testing, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Willing to work onsite 3 days per week in Tallahassee, FL.
• Florida resident.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate and analyze financial reports related to client payments received and processed.
• Print and reconcile client refunds and voucher checks.
• Perform analysis of multiple accounts and financial records.
• Complete quality assurance analysis on program calculations.
• Follow all internal protocols to maintain confidentiality and financial security of all program and client payment data.
• Assist in creating, updating, and implementing new processes to enhance balancing procedures.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of client remittance processing and procedures.
• Conduct research and analysis on client invoicing, exceptions, refunds, and other special projects as assigned.
• Create, update, monitor, and close tickets as necessary.
• Work closely with department leadership and systems teams to resolve system errors or discrepancies.
• Complete intensive user acceptance testing (UAT) as required for new processes or process fixes.
• Work with Business Analysts to assist with enhancements, fixes, and bugs.
• Assist with BOT maintenance, enhancements and new development and monitor BOT process for inaccuracies.
