Thieme is seeking a Project Manager (PM) for Journals to oversee editorial and production processes from article acceptance to online and print publication, ensuring journal health and timely delivery. The role involves coordinating artwork processing, communicating with Journal Editors and authors, and maintaining publication quality.

Requirements include a postgraduate degree and 2-3 years in editorial and production work, excellent English, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in any discipline from a reputed university.
• 2-3 years of editorial and production experience in journal publishing.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate artwork processing requirements for journals.
• Maintain relationships and communicate schedules with Journal Editors and authors.
• Incorporate inputs from authors/Editors into articles and issues.
• Fix initial elements for launch journals and coordinate with Editors.
• Track editorial and production work and maintain production records.
• Ensure quality and schedule adherence in Pre-editing, Copyediting, Typesetting, revisions.
