Job summary

Goldbelt Nighthawk, LLC in New Orleans, LA seeks a Software Developer to design, build, test, and deploy a web-based system supporting maintenance functional and technical requirements.

The role collaborates with analysts and developers, using Java and web technologies to improve performance, reliability, and troubleshooting in a dynamic team environment.

Hybrid work model with on-site presence at government customer location at least 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Java and JavaScript in a service-oriented or SAFe/DevSecOps environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and NAC investigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java source code for Middle Tier and Front-End components of a web-based application, test units, and document programs.
• Participate in functional/technical discussions with analysts and developers.
• Translate requirements into detailed coding steps and logical procedures.
• Provide troubleshooting skills in core Java including thread dumps, caching, memory leaks, and persistence configuration.
• Provide written status updates with progress, issues, and next steps.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver quality software capabilities.
