Job summary

Noblesoft Solutions is seeking contractors with Intersystems IRIS for Health and FHIR API experience for a long-term, hybrid on-site role in Jacksonville, FL. You will design, implement, and migrate APIs within Florida Blue security standards, collaborating across teams to deliver interoperable healthcare solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on development with REST/SOAP, YAML/Swagger, and modern frameworks, while supporting SDLC processes in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.
• Proficiency using versioning tools: Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Initiative and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
• Understanding of the SDLC in healthcare.
• Experience with HTML and frameworks like React.js, Node.js, Express.
• Experience with YAMLs, Swagger, and API-related tools.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web service development.
• Knowledge of big data tools and streaming tech is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of FHIR (FHIR-Based) APIs.
• Support the migration and onboarding of Intersystems as an Edifecs replacement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs and data integration within Florida Blue security standards.
• Utilize FHIR/interoperability experience to develop business-ready solutions.
• Play a key role in end-to-end API solutions.
