Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support and enhance a complex enterprise infrastructure within a fast-paced legal environment. You will administer Microsoft technologies, manage cloud and on-premises systems, automate processes, and support application deployments.

Responsibilities include configuring Windows Server and Azure environments, deploying enterprise apps, handling AD/Exchange Online, and providing after-hours support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or IT operations experience within a law firm environment.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Azure, and Entra ID.
• Experience administering Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and application deployment technologies.
• Experience supporting virtual desktop and remote access platforms such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, or similar solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Experience leading or managing small-to-medium technical projects.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support after-hours maintenance, on-call rotations, and occasional travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID environments.
• Deploy, integrate, and maintain enterprise applications across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Manage application lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching, security remediation, and performance optimization.
• Provision and deprovision user accounts within Active Directory, Exchange Online, and related systems.
• Support endpoint and application deployments using Intune, SCCM, Endpoint Manager, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administration, reporting, and operational tasks.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and participate in after-hours support rotations.
• Lead and contribute to infrastructure and systems-related projects.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate and implement technology solutions.
