Job summary

BOAfit, based in Denver, CO, seeks a Senior IT Systems Administrator to maintain and evolve our hybrid infrastructure, with emphasis on network management, enterprise systems administration, and cybersecurity projects. You will partner with global teams to ensure secure, scalable operations and participate in identity management and modernization initiatives.

The role is in Denver with 2–3 days in‑office; off‑hours support may be required for maintenance windows and critical issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering in hybrid enterprise.
• Experience managing enterprise networking, routing, VLANs, and secure remote access.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Solid cybersecurity fundamentals and infrastructure hardening.
• Experience managing Windows, macOS, Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across network, server, cloud, and endpoints.
• Excellent communication and global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Reflect and model BOA's vision, values and Leadership Model.
• Administer and support hybrid infrastructure: M365, Entra ID, on-prem AD, cloud.
• Manage Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Maintain Windows Hyper-V and Proxmox virtualization.
• Manage network and security: Fortinet firewalls, VPN, site-to-site, VLANs.
• Support cybersecurity aligned with NIST CSF.
• Administer endpoint management: Intune, Apple devices (Iru), Defender for Endpoint.
• Support backup/disaster recovery with Veeam; review RTO/RPO targets.
• Support infrastructure SOX controls and license management.
• Collaborate with vendors and MSPs; drive automation opportunities.
• Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and standards.
