Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for employees, focusing on hybrid, onsite coverage for our Chicago office. You will resolve day-to-day issues across hardware, software, accounts, and collaboration tools, serving both in-office staff and a distributed workforce.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in IT support, is comfortable with Jira, Okta/Entra, Jamf or Intune, and can communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or help desk.
• Experience supporting both in-office and remote employees is preferred.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.
• Able to work onsite in Chicago on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for the Chicago office, including hardware setup and network issues.
• Resolve help desk tickets for the distributed workforce, covering hardware, software, and access.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning for Midwest staff.
• Manage identity/access tasks and escalate complex requests as needed.
• Assist with endpoint management tasks (imaging, patches) using Jamf, Iru, etc.
• Maintain accurate ticketing and asset records for reporting.
• Follow runbooks and update knowledge base content.
• Escalate high-impact issues with context to leads.
• Collaborate with Security/IT Engineering on device compliance.
• Demonstrate integrity and customer focus.
