Job summary

Blue Raven Solutions is seeking an IT Manager to lead an integrated IT program in Morristown, NJ. The role oversees hybrid infrastructure spanning on‑prem, Microsoft 365 GCC High, Azure Gov, and AWS GovCloud environments.

The candidate will drive IT strategy, security controls, and compliance with CMMC, mentored by senior staff, and responsible for guiding junior engineers while ensuring high availability and data residency for regulated workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (7–10+ years in infrastructure engineering)
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure Government, AWS GovCloud (US), Nutanix AHV, Windows Server & Active Directory, Fortinet firewalls & Meraki networking
• Strong experience with Hybrid identity (Entra ID + AD) and security tools (EDR/XDR, SIEM)
• Experience in backup and disaster recovery planning and regulatory compliance like NIST/CMMC

Responsibilities

• Architect and administer enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, Azure Gov, and AWS GovCloud
• Define and enforce standards for compute, storage, networking, and identity across hybrid environments
• Lead modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, workload migration, and platform standardization
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across IT Operations
• Oversee Microsoft 365 GCC High, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Defender suite
• Manage Azure Government services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, policy, and security controls)
• Support AWS GovCloud (US) environments including EC2, S3, and VPC
• Ensure data residency compliance and boundary management for regulated workloads
• Implement cloud governance (RBAC, policy, tagging, security baselines)
• Oversee disaster recovery planning, backups, and recovery exercises
• Maintain documentation, change control, and audit traceability
