Job summary

The Department of Financial Institutions (State of Wisconsin) seeks an IT Security Architect to lead the agency's cybersecurity program, safeguard systems, and advise business partners. Based in Madison with a hybrid schedule, you’ll design, implement and govern security architecture, oversee incident prevention/remediation, and collaborate across teams to strengthen defenses for Wisconsin citizens.

You will engage with stakeholders, perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with state IT

Qualifications

Implementing and/or supporting Zscaler security solutions for web filtering.
Conducting IT risk assessments and/or IT system vulnerability remediations.
Identifying, triaging and remediating IT security incidents.
Troubleshooting complex technical issues across network, server, or app environments.

Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, governing and maintaining IT security systems architecture and efforts.
Managing Security Incident Prevention, Response, and Remediation efforts.
Conducting IT security initiatives and project analysis.
