Job summary
Northern Technologies Group is seeking a qualified IT Scrum Master to support the Missile Defense Agency under the IRES contract. The role collaborates with the Release Train Engineer to implement SAFe and Agile practices across dispersed teams in Huntsville and Colorado Springs, in a hybrid onsite environment.
The ideal candidate will have DoD TS eligibility, 2+ years in Scrum Master/Agile roles, and hands-on experience with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps to drive IT operations and regulatory
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen required.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance eligible.
- 4+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
- 2+ years of Scrum Master/Agile Coach/PM experience.
- Current Agile certifications (CSM, PSM I, or SSM).
- Experience with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps for remote/hybrid teams.
- Experience applying Agile methodologies to IT operations.
- Must be able to obtain an active DoW Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the RTE to define and align the Scrum Master role with SAFe frameworks and Agile release trains.
- Design, implement, and train IT teams on customized Agile processes.
- Establish a cohesive, hybrid, one-team dynamic across HSV and COS locations.
- Facilitate an optimized Agile cadence for IT and infrastructure delivery cycles.
- Coach the team and organization on using Agile/Scrum to deliver IT solutions.
