Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Audit professional to assess IT infrastructure controls across the Americas Division. The role emphasizes auditing operating systems, databases, virtualization, cloud and related areas, with support for issue validation and risk management.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in IT audit within banking/tech, strong communication skills, and knowledge of NIST/FFIEC standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years IT Application/Infrastructure/Cybersecurity audit experience in banking/tech.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure risks, controls and related standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations (NIST, FFIEC, NYS DFS 500).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of IT infrastructure areas for design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Prepare audit issues and reports for management and auditees.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify risk concerns and improvements.
• Support continuous monitoring activities across IT infrastructure and technology risks.
