Job summary

CIBC US in New York is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead risk-based IT audits, develop plans, and mentor staff. This role requires 6–8 years in SOX/IT audits, strong controls testing, and the ability to travel up to 5%.

The on-site component is hybrid, with 2+ days on-site weekly; the salary range is $120,000–$150,000 USD, plus incentive opportunities and a comprehensive benefits program designed to support your growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CISA/CISSP/CCSP/CRISC preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in planning and executing SOX and/or IT audits including but not limited to Access Management, Change Management, SDLC, ITGC and integrated audits.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% and alignment with company values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.

• Audit focused: identify controls, finalize scope, and lead testing across IT and business processes.
