Strong research, writing, and discovery skills are essential, plus willingness to work onsite in Chicago at least 3 days per week. Salary ranges from $175,000 to $195,000 per year with a hybrid work schedule, 401k, health benefits, PTO, and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to IL state bar.
• Engineering or Computer Science degree.
• 1–3 years of litigation experience, ideally involving complex commercial or intellectual property disputes.
• Patent litigation experience is preferred; exposure to trademark or trade secret litigation is also valuable.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in IP litigation and related matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery, depositions, and related document production.
• Collaborate with technical teams for IP strategy and case preparation.
