Job summary

SGA, Inc. seeks a Technical Business Analyst - Investments Data Platform for a long-term consulting engagement. This hybrid role is based in Holmdel, NJ, requiring onsite presence two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday).

You will partner with product, investments, risk, operations, and engineering teams to translate complex investment data requirements into scalable technology solutions. Strong domain knowledge and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years as a Technical Business Analyst in investment management or financial services.
• Strong understanding of investment data concepts and reporting.
• Experience managing Jira features, epics, and backlogs.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate investment data requirements.
• Document data mappings, business rules, and functional requirements.
• Create Jira epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Ensure traceability from business requirements to delivery and testing.
• Coordinate testing activities and support UAT for investment workflows.
