Job summary
The Ford Foundation is hiring an Investment Analytics Analyst to support risk measurement, portfolio reporting, and asset allocation research within the Investments division. You will maintain the analytics platform, evaluate managers, and help improve portfolio hedges and tactical trades.
The role requires 2+ years in investment analytics, a Bachelor’s degree, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and MATLAB.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in investment management or related analytical roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with knowledge of investment concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages (MATLAB is a plus).
- Advanced Excel modeling and Bloomberg familiarity.
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantitative risk analyses and reporting at asset class and endowment levels.
- Maintain and enhance the internal portfolio analytics platform and tools.
- Support asset allocation research and portfolio construction activities.
- Evaluate hedges or tactical trades and monitor portfolio exposures.
