Job summary

Allspring Global Investments is seeking a Communications Specialist, Internal & PR to develop clear content and coordinate corporate communications across internal and external channels. Hybrid work requires in-office 4 days per week in Charlotte, NC or Milwaukee, WI.

You will draft announcements, leadership messages, press materials, and manage calendar and distribution for firm priorities, while partnering with Marketing, Corporate Communications, HR, and Digital teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in communications.
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate/internal/external communications or public relations.
• Strong writing, editing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit internal and external communications, leadership messages, talking points, FAQs, press materials, and other content.
• Coordinate internal communications channels, newsletters, intranet, and event communications.
• Plan and support All Hands meetings, leadership forums, employee engagement programs, and change initiatives.
• Support media activities, including monitoring, inquiries, byline placement, and earned media reporting.
• Manage editorial calendars, timelines, approvals, and distribution workflows.
• Publish and maintain content across internal and external channels and ensure accuracy.
• Track engagement and outcomes, document processes, and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Brand, HR, Digital, Legal, and Compliance.
