Job summary

BMW of North America invites motivated students to join a Spring/Summer 2027 internship in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. You will support the US team with customer tests, organize drives for pre-released vehicles, and help optimize vehicle systems and user interfaces for US customers.

Participants must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program, have 60 credits completed, a 3.0 GPA, and US work authorization. Hybrid work days and an intern vehicle lease program are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited college or university.
• US Work Authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall, not just major).
• Completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week).
• Must submit an unofficial college transcript with your application.
• Prior BMW Group experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the US Team for customer tests and organize drives with pre-released vehicles and drivers at the Woodcliff Lake campus.
• Focus on optimizing the functional and technical characteristics as well as the UI for US customers.
• Coordinate usage of relevant vehicles according to the project plan.
• Conduct interviews with drivers and transfer feedback to KNT database.
• Ensure timely verification of reported incidents and provide relevant data from drivers.
• Prepare and communicate regular status updates to headquarters in Germany.
