Job summary

JPC Architects is seeking an Interior Designer to join our firm. You will participate in project visioning, develop space plans, and assist with design development and client materials.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Interior Design or Interior Architecture with 2+ years of commercial experience, plus proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, Enscape, and design tools. We offer a hybrid schedule and competitive compensation reflecting experience and skill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• 2+ years of commercial interior design or interior architecture experience.
• Strong graphic, presentation, and visualization skills.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, Enscape, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal project visioning, design discussions, and team collaboration.
• Develop preliminary space plans, programming documentation, and design concepts.
• Assist with design development presentations, visualization packages, and client-facing materials.
• Conduct site verifications and site surveys to document existing conditions accurately.
• Assemble finish/material, furniture, and lighting palettes; research products and assist with specifications and selections.
• Support the production of interior architectural documentation from planning through construction drawings, including drafting construction drawings and incorporating revisions.
• Assist with consultant coordination, technical detailing, and project documentation.
• Support senior team members with construction administration activities, including submittals, contractor questions, and construction progress reviews.
• Build positive relationships with project teams, clients, consultants, and industry partners.
• Demonstrate a commitment to client service and contribute to project goals, schedules, and budgets.
