Job summary

Flad Architects in Madison, WI is seeking a highly skilled interior designer with architecture background to articulate and document interior design concepts for complex projects. You will collaborate across disciplines, prepare Revit documentation, and help manage finish schedules and furnishings.

You should have at least four years of interior design experience, proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and a portfolio demonstrating recent healthcare, academic, or workplace projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of interior design experience related to architecture or interior architecture.
• Experience in Flad's market segments preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit; knowledge of Construction Documentation and finish plans.

Responsibilities

• Articulate and communicate client vision, goals, and objectives by developing and documenting interior design.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to align interiors with space planning concepts and exterior architecture.
• Develop and coordinate finish plans, specifications, and selections for construction, including millwork, partitions, ceilings, floors, and furniture.
• Coordinate construction change documentation, shop drawings, and communications for interior project work during construction.
• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings and project updates.
