Job summary

Flad Architects in San Francisco is seeking a talented interior architecture professional to join our collaborative studio. You will participate in programming, planning, design, and documentation across a variety of project types, helping shape spaces that support science, healthcare, academic, and workplace environments.

You will coordinate with internal teams, prepare client presentations, and stay current with materials and technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent interior architecture experience in an architecture or interior architecture firm required.
• Experience in one of Flad’s market segments preferred.
• Experience in producing technical documentation in all project phases, including permit and construction documents preferred.

How will your days be spent

What you bring to this role

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of recent interior architecture experience in an architecture or interior architecture firm required.
• Experience in one of Flad’s market segments preferred.
• Experience in producing technical documentation in all project phases, including permit and construction documents preferred.

Software:

• Beginner Revit knowledge required; have at least one year of recent Revit experience in an academic or professional setting. Understands how Revit works but may not have completed a project from start to finish. Has made edits to existing drawings, models, etc. Intermediate Revit knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in SketchUp and/or Rhino required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software (including Enscape and Lumion) preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or interior architecture required.
• Sustainability accreditation preferred.

Annual base salary range is currently: $89,000 - $100,000. Actual starting salary will be within that range, and is dependent upon job-related education, knowledge, and experience.
