Job summary

Dignitas Technologies, a By Light company, seeks an Integration Engineer to plan, develop, and execute delivery orders across vendor systems for LVC training applications. You will work across lifecycle stages, assembling components, defining interfaces, and ensuring system functionality to meet customer needs.

The role involves collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and government stakeholders, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent), required.
3–6 years in integration engineering, defense or aerospace preferred.
Experience with system lifecycle processes (requirements, design, integration, test, sustainment).
Familiarity with systems engineering standards (INCOSE, MIL-STD, DoD).
Ability to read technical drawings, interface control docs, specs.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify COTS solutions to meet program needs at component and subsystem level.
Perform hands-on assembly of system components in lab and at customer sites.
Assist in testing systems at system, subsystem, and component levels.
Document system interconnections and functionality between components.
Translate mission needs into system requirements, architectures, and solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation (CDRLs) and participate in design reviews.
