Job summary

Integral Care is seeking Intake specialists to provide trauma-informed, person-centered care for adults with mental illness in a fast-paced environment. You will assess needs, gather history, and coordinate services under supervision, with opportunities for clinical supervision toward licensure.

Full-time role based in Travis County, Texas, with schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and hourly pay between $24.18 and $25.39 depending on education and experience. Excellent benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advancement or supervision opportunities.
• Current and valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Job Summary:

Intake specialists utilize aperson-centered, trauma-informed, recovery focused approach to forgetherapeutic relationships with racially and culturally diverse individuals:

• Toassess their psychiatric needs.
• Togather psychosocial history.
• Toevaluate individual strengths, needs, and goals.
• Todefine and facilitate desired life outcomes.
• Coordinateand manage client crises when they arise.
• Identifypotential service gaps and advocate with providers to ensure services are appropriate and adequate to clients' needs and preferences.

Intake specialists work under the general supervision of theunit manager and/or the LPHA supervisor with moderate latitude for the use ofinitiative and independent judgment. Intake specialists who are master's Levelclinicians are eligible for clinical supervision towards advance licensure froma board-certified supervisor, while employed with Integral Care. Intakespecialists who are masters level clinicians will have an opportunity toprovide living skills training to clients under the supervision of an LPHA.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be anessential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. Mayrequire a flexible work schedule.
