Job summary

Prt Financial seeks an Insurance Agent to meet with prospective clients, assess their needs, and collect application information. You will guide applicants through the insurance process in alignment with underwriting guidelines, with a mix of field and office-based work.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with CRM systems. A Life/Health license or ability to obtain one is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• State license (Life/Health) or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews to gather personal, financial, and medical information for applications.
• Explain insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms clearly.
• Assess risks and factors influencing underwriting decisions.
• Complete and submit applications in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Liaise between clients and underwriting to resolve questions or obtain information.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Stay informed about industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and product updates.
