Job summary

Prt Financial is seeking an Insurance Agent to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, assessing needs and guiding them through the insurance process. You will handle interviews, explain products, and ensure accurate applications while remaining aligned with underwriting guidelines.

The role combines field meetings with remote/office work and may require evening or weekend availability to accommodate clients.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain Life/Health insurance license.
• Prior experience in insurance sales, underwriting, or financial services is desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficient in using CRM software and digital applications for client management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews to gather personal, financial, and medical information for insurance applications.
• Explain insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms clearly and accurately.
• Assess potential risks and factors that may influence underwriting decisions.
• Complete and submit applications in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Act as liaison between clients and underwriting department to resolve questions or obtain additional information.
