Community College of Vermont is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to partner with academic and administrative units to define research questions and scope. You will design dashboards showing enrollment, retention, completion, and course success, and conduct analyses to inform planning and decision-making.

The role requires strong SQL and Python skills, advanced Excel, and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). A hybrid work arrangement at CCV centers in Vermont is available.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative, research, social science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, institutional research, assessment, or a related analytical role, preferably in higher education.
• Strong SQL and Python; advanced proficiency in Excel and at least one statistical software package (SPSS, R, or SAS); experience with BI or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain self-service dashboards for enrollment, retention, completion, course success, and other outcomes.
• Conduct statistical analyses of institutional outcomes and communicate implications for planning and decision-making.
• Administer surveys (CCSSE, student, employee, graduate outcomes) from design to reporting.
• Support academic program reviews with analyses and data summaries and facilitate discussion with faculty and leadership.
• Provide analytical support for general education and student learning outcomes assessment.
• Present findings to academic committees, President’s Council, and other audiences.
• Cross-train with IR Analyst for backup reporting during peak periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
