Qualifications

• 2 years in an industrial/outdoor work environment
• 6-day work week; Mon-Fri 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Sat 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; OT possible
• Must be efficient with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Working around large trucks and heavy equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority; uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping
• Hybrid role combining Inspector and Scale Operator duties
• Direct customers to unload materials and ensure proper locations
• Inspect for hazardous materials (flammable, radioactive, etc.) and non-acceptable items
• Ensure prohibited materials are not kept on site; remove and store items as needed
• Coordinate shipments (rail/truck) and maintain safety records
