Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner for our outpatient infusion center on Long Island, NY. This hybrid role combines hands‑on infusion service with clinical oversight to ensure patient safety and high‑quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a NY NP license, has at least 2 years of outpatient or infusion experience, and is proficient in patient communication, documentation, and coordination with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Current NY NP license is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in outpatient or infusion care.
• IV therapy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusions or injections per protocol.
• Communicate with patients about scheduling, symptoms, and inquiries.
• Coordinate with referring providers for care plans and status updates.
• Resolve clinical escalations per policy and procedure.
• Prescribe select meds and manage inventory and supplies.
