Job summary

Red River is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and improve our hybrid infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Nutanix, Azure, and AWS. The role supports backup and DR, security, and compliance while collaborating with IT and security teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure, strong scripting skills (PowerShell), and experience in ITIL-like service management, with occasional after-hours work and remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience supporting virtualization platforms, preferably Nutanix, and cloud environments such as Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, endpoint management, and business continuity processes.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, routing and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Nutanix, Azure, AWS, and related hybrid infrastructure platforms.
• Monitor system health, availability, utilization and performance; participate in capacity planning and improve reliability and efficiency.
• Support backup, replication, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities, including testing.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, hardening standards, vulnerability remediation, and audit support processes.
• Support endpoint and identity management technologies, including Microsoft Intune and Group Policy.
