Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking an Information System Security Officer to join a fast-paced, mission-driven team. The role collaborates with customer teams and external contractors to secure software and IT infrastructure while addressing risk and compliance requirements.

Key duties include vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, incident response support, and ensuring adherence to government security policies. Hybrid/remote work is available from multiple Dark Wolf hubs in the US.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT security and/or information assurance experience.
• Background in secure software development.
• Experience working with customers to improve cyber security posture.
• Experience authoring and maintaining security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, and security monitoring tools.
• Perform vulnerability assessments using automated tools and container scanning.
• Conduct threat modeling, support incident response, forensics, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate security action requests and report status to senior managers.
• Assist in implementing government policies and conduct risk analyses for security requirements.
