Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to monitor networks and applications for cyber threats and coordinate incident responses. The role focuses on containment, remediation, and reporting to leadership through detailed analyses and documentation.

The position requires DoD cybersecurity experience, IAT CSSP certification before hire, and a Top Secret/SCI clearance. A strong background in incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in cyber operations.
• 2+ years with SIEM tools (LogRhythm, Splunk).
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and accreditation activities.
• DoD 8140 IAT CSSP Certification must be obtained prior to hire (CEH, CCNA Security, GCIH, CySA+ or Equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• US Citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous system monitoring to identify cyber threats and assist containment and remediation.
• Lead vulnerability management actions and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Conduct intrusion analysis and correlate unauthorized activity; improve mitigation processes.
• Provide threat insights to support mitigation and remediation activities.
• Draft documentation for briefings, reports, and analyses; support development of TTPs.
