Job summary
Strategic Ventures Consulting Group (SVCG), LLC, seeks an Information Management Engineer in Arlington, VA, with potential for hybrid work. You will support development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of information management solutions for a federal program, focusing on SharePoint, dashboards, and data governance.
You will translate operational requirements into practical tech-enabled solutions, maintain information systems and workflows, and develop user guidance and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Public Trust required; TS/SCI security clearance preferred.
- Experience developing enterprise information management, collaboration, workflow, or business technology solutions.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, dashboards, databases, or comparable platforms.
- Ability translating business requirements into technical or technology-enabled solutions.
- Knowledge of information management, records management, data visualization, workflow automation, and/or business process improvement.
- Strong customer service, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain repositories for international arrangements and reporting.
- Create internal and public webpages, dashboards, and information resources.
- Improve technology-enabled solutions for international program and travel management.
- Translate operational requirements into practical information management solutions.
- Maintain information management systems, workflows, and processes.
- Evaluate tools and propose usability, automation, and retention improvements.
- Support enterprise travel process implementation and portal solutions.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for leadership visibility.
- Create user guidance, FAQs, training materials, and user support.
- Coordinate with IT, security, records, and program stakeholders.
- Support data quality, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes via tech.
