Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Sr. Governance and Compliance Analyst to support our security program across the enterprise. The role is hybrid in Deerfield Beach, FL, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, for a 6-month contract.

You will execute evaluation tasks, ensure regulatory compliance (SOC 1 Type 2, MAR, NY DFS 500, CCPA), and drive IT policy development, control testing, and auditing processes. Engage stakeholders and manage governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating governance and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of SOC 1 Type 2, MAR, NY DFS 500, and CCPA.
• Experience working with auditors and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPP, GIAC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute program tasks related to evaluation of security control framework maturity.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls with proactive validation of controls.
• Review regulatory and compliance matters related to IT and perform gap analysis.
• Implement and maintain IT governance, including security and privacy controls.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Advocate for information security practices.
• Engage control owners and stakeholders to collect test evidence and assess compliance.
• Maintain relationships with partners and maintain governance in GRC platform.
• Facilitate IT audits and remediation of findings.
• Understand contractual security requirements with third parties.
• Stay updated on government and industry security standards and governance.
• Establish governance around disaster recovery and develop security standards.
• Conduct periodic internal assessments for security risk and compliance.
